You promised me you'd take me there again someday..
I LOVE the Silent Hill series, here I will be logging my thoughts here..
Games I've played in the series:
I first played Silent Hill on my psp (literally, they're some of the best ps1 emulators!). I also finally got my boyfriend to play it, but he probably didn't enjoy it as much as me. I think it's a really good start to the series. It's obviously the most jank, but not the worst. I will say, I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THE REMAKE! I love Harry Mason, the fact that in the movie adaptations he was replaced makes me so mad. Directors said a dad can't care for a daughter!!! Single dad erasure!!!!
Working interpretations:
I waited to play Silent Hill 2 for years and shockingly avoided all spoilers. When I got my PS2, I managed to get a modded memory card. I managed to get SH2 to load and work (but there were some issues with cutscenes). I loved it oh my god. what a beautiful game. I think people mischaracterize James alot, not to mention with the remake as well.
Working interpretations:
OH MY GAWDD HEATHERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fucking loved Silent Hill 3. Unfortunately when I first played it, the final boss is based off luck. I was not lucky. I felt like Silent Hill 3 visually upgraded from Silent Hill 2. I cannot just get over my love for it, I've just gotten a copy as well.
